In the beginning...

Why is it that when you're on the phone or trying to use the computer your kids need you "right now, right now"?! My daughter wants me to watch her gymnastics routine and I'm trying to write my first posting on my new blog. This is important stuff! OK, I just watched her. She's so cute and talented. I adore my children! We home school and we're part of a parent-partnership program for home schooling families. Along with the challenges of being a single-income family, being my childrens' primary teacher, home-ownership, and life in general, I wouldn't change a thing. Well...that's not entirely true...There are a ton of things I'd like to change! The sun has been out the past few days and I've been able to get out and do some winter clean-up. Gardening is so therapeutic to me. I moved the four remaining fruit trees from out front to higher ground in the back. We started with ten fruit trees and because of where we planted them, they died! Our property is very wet and the poor things rotted. Live and learn! Off to bed now. Must rest tired bones for lots more outdoor work tomorrow.
